Key Features:

Class 1 Accuracy & Standards Compliance

  • Designed to meet Class 1 accuracy requirements under standards such as IEC 61672‑1:2013, IEC 60651:1979 and IEC 60804:2000.
  • Fully compliant with professional acoustic measurement applications to ensure reliable and repeatable noise data.

Built-in 1/1 Octave Band Filter (Optional 1/3 Octave Upgrade)

  • Includes an integrated 1/1 octave band filter for frequency selective measurement — essential for analysing noise sources, machine noise or environmental acoustics.
  • Optional upgrade to 1/3 octave band filtering for higher resolution frequency analysis.

Wide Measurement Range & Low Inherent Noise

  • Sound pressure level measurement range: from approximately 22 dB(A) up to around 136 dB(A) (depending on configuration).
  • Low inherent noise microphone and electronics ensure accuracy even at low SPL levels.

Multiple Frequency- & Time-Weighting Options

  • Supports A, B, C and Z frequency weightings, enabling versatile measurement for different standards and applications (environmental noise, industrial noise, product certification).
  • Time-weighting options include Fast (F), Slow (S) and Impulse (I) response modes.

Data Logging, Graphical Display & Connectivity

  • Built-in data logger with adjustable measurement interval (from 1 s up to 24 h) and memory (via micro SD card) for continuous monitoring.
  • Large, illuminated LCD display shows numeric SPL, real-time sound curves/graphs and octave band results for clear visualisation.
  • USB interface (and possibly other ports) for data export and connection to PC software for analysis.

Professional Features for Field & Lab Use

  • Hand-held portable design suited for field measurements across industrial noise assessments, environmental surveys, building acoustics and more.
  • Additional features such as adjustable alarm levels, microphone options and optional accessories enhance versatility.
